Description
Aoi is a clone with less than one year to designated life to live. His mission is to avenge the death of his childhood friend, Yoshino, by assassinating his murderer. However, when Aoi gets hit by a truck driven by two men named Tristran and Diss, his mission is derailed. The two take Aoi back to their village to treat his injuries from the accident and Aoi stays in Diss’s home to recover.
Tristran is in charge of the village church, which doubles as an orphanage whose inhabitants happen to be children with super powers. One of the orphans, Shion, is a mind reader and senses that there is an assasin after Diss. Aoi, looking to protect the man who helped nurse him back to health, intervenes and saves Diss. When a second attempt is made on Diss’s life, Diss defends himself; however, in the heat of the fight young Shion calls Diss “Arcline Cole”: the man who murdered Yoshino.
